Posy Gang Does a Bachelorette Party: Flower Crowns for Everyone!

What do you get when you bring together one happy bride-to-be, several of her sweetest and most flower-loving friends, and a whole lotta flowers in an amazingly chic party room? A Posy Gang bachelorette party flower crown workshop!!!! This happened a couple of weeks ago, and I could hardly wait to share this album with you all. So without further ado:

The flower bar. Starring my own field-grown dahlias in July - oh yes! Alongside Posy Gang coneflowers, ammobium, scabiosa, statice, ivy.

After a brief demonstration of flower crown mechanics, I set the ladies loose upon the flower bar. This pic in particular makes me very happy - I think the bride's smile says it all. How amazing to be surrounded and celebrated by one's nearest and dearest! This woman's pretty awesome, though, so it's little wonder that she's so well-loved by friends from every stage of her life.

L and K, I don't know what was being said here to produce the giggles, but I feel like this picture is begging for a caption contest... :P

Getting the crown in the perfect position before tying it on. I only wish I had a pic of the ties we used: really luxe, hand-dyed silk ribbons from Silk and Sumac (silkandsumac.ca). So gorgeous!!!

Hostess extraordinaire. I'm so grateful for this woman who made it very easy for me to swoop in and do my thing.

Family photo! What an incredible job they all did with their crowns - I will be forever impressed. Also, can this group get any more photogenic?!?

And then.....

......the party really started!!!
